The state of heightened combat readiness in the Serbian Armed Forces was abolished by the decision of the President and Commander-in-Chief Aleksandar Vui, the Presidency confirmed to Tanjug.
Combat readiness was declared on December 26 due to the situation in the north of Kosovo.

"We had a conversation that was anything but easy," he said.
"We gave people the papers, and there is nothing bad about it... We had difficult conversations, but we were very honest with each other. As I understood it, this was the conclusion of the Headquarters from the barricades. People told me that they did not want to go against their country," said Vui.
