Warriors rout Spurs in front of record NBA crowd

The Golden State Warriors were the stars of the party in San Antonio on Jan. 13, cruising to a 144-113 victory over the Spurs before an NBA record crowd of 68,323 at the Alamodome.

Jordan Poole led the defending champion Warriors with 25 points off the bench, and Donte DiVincenzo added 22 as Golden State's reserves came up big.

Olympiakos comes off Euroleague top, as Greens lose again

Olympiakos came off the top of the Euroleague table with a four-point loss at Monaco, while Panathinaikos suffered its sixth reverse in a row, going down at home to Fenerbahce on Tuesday.

Olympiakos lost in the very end at Monaco with a 64-60 score, as the Monegasques played some stifling defense to undo the Reds' game.

Doncic scores 51 as Dallas NBA win streak reaches six

Luka Doncic scored 51 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to their sixth victory in a row while the Brooklyn Nets stretched their NBA win streak to 11 on Dec. 31.

Doncic added nine assists, six rebounds, four steals and a blocked shot in a maestro performance for the Mavericks in a 126-125 victory at San Antonio.

Hornets sting Warriors in overtime

P.J Washington scored 31 points, including six in overtime, as the Charlotte Hornets beat reigning NBA champion Golden State 120-113 as Stephen Curry's hometown heroics didn't pan out.

The Oklahoma City Thunder also won in overtime on Oct. 29, edging the Mavericks in Dallas 117-111.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 38 points, six rebounds and nine assists.
