Three new arrests were made by the police on Sunday in connection with the shooting that occurred on Friday night at a beach bar in the Haniotis area of Halkidiki.

The 55-year-old Bulgarian owner, along with two other patrons of the beach bar who were injured by gunfire, were arrested on charges of brawling.

A coordinated police operation led to the arrest of 49 individuals on Saturday afternoon following reports of vandalism at the Aristotle University in the northern port city of Thessaloniki.

Various items were seized, including wooden batons, masks and incendiary devices.

A 45-year old driver was arrested on Tuesday in Argos, after he attacked a woman with a wooden stick during a conflict between drivers, police said.

The police and ambulance quickly arrived at the scene of the attack.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
As "Telegraf.rs" learns, there were FC "Rijeka" fans on the bus and luckily no one was injured.
The police are intensively searching for the vandals who used batons in the attack. The vandals were wearing masks, the media reports.

Police arrested on Wednesday night a trolley bus driver after an anonymous tip informing them that the man he was carrying a weapon.

The driver, who serves route 20 from Faliro to Drapetsona, was detained  in Piraeus. During the search, officers found an air gun and a police baton which were confiscated. 

The suspect will be led before a prosecutor on Thursday.

''The police batons will not solve the problem, on the contrary, it is deepening'', President Rumen Radev told journalists regarding the independence referendum in Catalonia on Sunday, reported BNR.
