The Kalamata Street Festival turns 10 this year and will be celebrating with parties, dancing, art workshops, activities for children, bazaars, sports events and exhibitions. The action all takes place at the Municipal Railway Park every evening from 7 p.m., starting Thursday, July 27, and runs through Sunday, July 30.
On the eve of the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture, the biggest spring book fair in Bulgaria opens at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia: the Spring Book Bazaar.
It will be held until May 28, on the third floor of the National Palace of Culture in downtown Sofia.
There is a special place to sit down and read a book.
Find a large selection of used English, French and Greek books for sale at great prices. All proceeds will go to the Filothei-Psychico Society for the Protection of Strays (ZoFiPsy). The bazaar takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Blue Bell events venue (on the first roundabout when entering Psychico from the Faros intersection on Kifissias Avenue).
Campion School is hosting its Christmas Bazaar from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 11. The event will feature a wide selection of gift items, entertainment for children, a visit by Santa Claus, as well as plenty of edible goodies.
