Inside the Forbidden City | Athens | September 15 - February 14
In partnership with Beijing's Palace Museum, the Acropolis Museum presents "Forbidden City: The Private Rooms of Emperor Qianlong." The show comprises 162 exhibits from the private rooms of 18th century Emperor Qianlong in his early years before assuming the throne. Qianlong was also a poet, calligrapher and collector of Chinese art.
Chinese emperor's possessions on display in Athens
In partnership with Beijing's Palace Museum, the Acropolis Museum in Athens is hosting the exhibition 'Forbidden City: The Private Rooms of Emperor Qianlong.' The show comprises 162 exhibits from the private rooms of China's 18th century Emperor Qianlong in his early years before assuming the throne. It is the first time that these artifacts have been allowed to travel abroad.

BBC - Two lions, two tigers and a jaguar have escaped from a zoo in Lünebach in western Germany, police have said.
Local authorities advised residents to stay inside their homes and call police if they see anything. A massive hunt is under way for the five big cats.
A bear had also escaped from the privately owned Eifel zoo, but was shot dead, a local official told AFP.
