Norway has Changed its Name for Belarus
Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt announced that Norway had officially changed its name (in Norwegian) for Belarus. Authorities in Oslo will now call the country "Belarus" and will not use the hitherto adopted name for the country Hviterussland, which literally means "White Russia".
The news was reported in the Norwegian media.

Foreign leaders at a military parade in Moscow?
"We did not invite any foreign leader to Victory Day. The fact is that this is not an anniversary date. This is our holiday, this is a holy holiday for all of Russia, for all Russians. But we did not invite foreign leaders," Peskov said.
Asked to clarify, he answered that the visit of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on May 9 is not expected.

The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considers Bulgaria an unfriendly state.
Today, the government in Minsk approved a list of countries it considers "unfriendly".

The EP has called for a halt to imports of Gas, Oil, Coal and Nuclear Fuel from Russia
In a resolution passed by 513 votes to 22, with 19 abstentions, MEPs called for additional sanctions, including an "immediate full embargo on imports of oil, coal, nuclear fuel and gas originating in Russia".
Lukashenko: "Belarus conducted its special operation in Ukraine"
He said that Minsk is working on the release of Belarusian citizens in Ukraine, reports Sputnik International.
"Belarus has conducted a special operation to free its truckers captured and detained in Ukraine," he said.

Belarusian troops crossed the Ukrainian border in the Chernihiv region.
This was confirmed by the Parliament of Ukraine.
