EU Envoy Sets 2024 Deadline for Kosovo-Serbia Deal

Serbia, Kosovo Agree ‘Road Map’ to Energy Dispute Solution
The EU's envoy for Serbia-Kosovo dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, announced on Tuesday that Belgrade and Pristina have agreed to a 'road map' to further implement energy agreements made in 2013 and 2015.
Lajcak said that Belgrade and Pristina's negotiators adopted the Energy Agreements Implementation Roadmap, and described this as "a major step forward".

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was in Kosovo's capital, Pristina, to meet with senior leaders as part of her regional tour before an EU-Western Balkans summit on Oct. 6.
New round of talks - Vučić vs. Kurti; Borrell will present his expectations first
A new round of talks in Brussels is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. with bilateral meetings between the two sides with EU mediators. Prior to the meeting, the main mediator of the EU in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, will address the media with a video message in which he will state his expectations from the talks.
Kosovo, Serbia Trade Blame for Logjam in Dialogue
Kosovo and Serbia delegations again exchanged familiar accusations of not fulfilling the obligations they have undertaken at the latest round of the EU-facilitated dialogue on normalization of relations between the two countries.
The two delegations met on Tuesday in Brussels convened by the EU's envoy for the dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

Kosovo Feels US, EU, Heat on Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities
The US Deputy Assistant of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Matthew Palmer, on Sunday said that Kosovo needs to fulfill its obligation to set up an Association of Serb-majority Municipalities.
