Glisic: New elections in Belgrade in June or July if no majority in city assembly

BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Executive Committee President Darko Glisic said on Tuesday the constitutive session of the new Belgrade city assembly would reveal if there was a majority in the body or new elections would be held in June or July.

BELGRADE - Repeat parliamentary elections will be held at 35 polling stations across Serbia on Saturday, with 19,543 people eligible to vote.

Repeat elections for the Belgrade local assembly will also be held at three polling stations in the capital.

Electoral commission dismisses opposition claims number of voters was artificially inflated

BELGRADE - Serbia's national electoral commission has dismissed claims by the opposition Serbia Against Violence coalition that the number of people eligible to vote in the December 17 local elections in Belgrade had been inflated artificially to sway the outcome of the polls.

Obradovic to resign as Dveri leader

BELGRADE - Serbian Dveri Movement President Bosko Obradovic announced he would resign as the opposition party's leader on Saturday.

In a statement to Tanjug, Obradovic said a press conference would be held at the Dveri headquarters to address electoral results and accountability for the party's electoral failure.
