German court drops case against Nazi
A German court yesterday said it had dropped a case against a 96-year-old former medical orderly at the Auschwitz death camp because he suffers from dementia, ending one of the last high-profile Nazi prosecutions.
Wheelchair-bound Hubert Zafke had faced 3,681 counts of being an accessory to murder at the concentration camp in Nazi-occupied Poland.

Anne Frank died earlier than thought, new study says
Jewish teenager Anne Frank died in a Nazi concentration camp at least a month earlier than her official date of death, a new study said on March 31.
"New research... has shed fresh light on the last days of Anne Frank and her sister Margot," the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam said on Tuesday, until now her official death date.
