Istanbul court postpones Çar?? coup case as police take back accusations

After police witnesses took back their accusations against the Be?ikta? football fan group Çar??, an Istanbul court adjourned the April 2 hearing of a case in which 35 members of Çar?? are on trial for organizing a plot against the government during the 2013 Gezi Park protests. 

It is not enough to call them terrorists

We call "terrorists" those people who take up arms and commit acts of terror.
If terrorists render it much more difficult to shout out loud for democratic rights with their actions...
If they serve the dominant power by making it show its teeth more aggressively...
If their actions lead to renewed attacks on the memory of a 14-year-old child...

Turkey Bans Media Coverage of Prosecutor Hostage Crisis

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu imposed a temporary media ban on the coverage of the ongoing crisis in Istanbul, where a prosecutor had been taken hostage earlier on Tuesday.

Armed men, claiming to be from the banned leftist group DHKP-C, seized public prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz in a courthouse in Istanbul.
