The Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA) has lashed out at the stickers certifying that 100 per cent of the staff have been vaccinated against Covid-19 which are to be placed on hotels and qualified them as "discriminatory" and likely to create a number of problems for the industry.

Bulgaria should urgently start issuing entry visas to Russian tourists, according to the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA).

Just hours ago, the Russian Federation announced that flights from RF to Turkey were suspended for indefinite time because of the spike in cases of COVID-19 in the country, BHRA said.

Bulgaria expects an increase by 4-6% in tourist numbers in the winter season, according to Blagoy Ragin, Chair of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA).

In a Wednesday interview for the Bulgarian National Radio, Ragin argued that 1% of the tourism revenues had to go to domestic and international advertising.
