Protesters Back Serbian Policeman Who Found ‘State-Protected’ Drug Farm
Dozens of protesters led by Serbian opposition MPs gathered on Tuesday in front of Belgrade Special Court to support policeman Dusan Mitic before his testimony in the so-called 'Jovanjica' cannabis farm case.
Mitic was among the police officers who discovered the huge cannabis farm that allegedly enjoyed the protection of Serbian state security.

Serbia's chief intelligence service said on Monday it had written to its Swiss counterpart to complain about remarks made by former Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty saying he had been provided with police protection due to death threats from "certain circles of the Serbian intelligence services."

According to a statement submitted to the Tanjug agency, the Security Information Agency sent a letter to the Swiss Federal Intelligence Service (FIS) today, in which it strongly condemns and denies malicious claims about the involvement of Serbian security services in planning anyone's murder.

Zeljski confirmed to RTS that local security services know the identity of a person called a "high-ranking official with an officer's rank", as well as the subject of the trade, but did not want to talk about it, as it encroaches on "sensitive territory of operational collection of information and data analysis".

President snubs BIA event after reporters are banned from it
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic late on Monday canceled his participation in an event marking the day of the Security Information Agency (BIA).
According to the Presidency, Vucic did this "because several journalists from different newsdesks did not get permission to attend the ceremony."
Security agency denies questioning folk singer over new song
Folk singer Draga "Keba" Kebic confirmed on Tuesday for N1 that he had been taken for questioning at the Security Information Agency (BIA).
Kebic "did not want to reveal any details of the conversation, but said only that the topic was his upcoming song that the BIA appraised was not suitable for the national interest."
