Poacher kills rare species of pelecanus in Evros
A pelecanus crispus was found dead at Evros Delta National Park of in Trace, Northern Greece.
It was spotted by members of Hellenic Ornithological Society and Forest Service of Alexandroupolis when they were conducting a joint patrol.

A refugee child dies from hypothermia during its trip to Greece
A five-year-old child died when the boat it was on board capsized and sank north of Lesvos on Wednesday.
According to initial information, the child died from hypothermia despite the efforts of the rescue team. 46 more persons that were in the same boat were rescued while the number of missing is still unknown.
World's oldest man dies at 112 in Japan

Urban Waste in Albania 'a Danger to Health'
Albania's Institute of Public Health, ISHP is raising an alarm about the way urban waste is being managed, uring local governments to improve the condition of public waste containers and raise their hygienic standards.
A study published this week by ISHP gathered data from eight years, from 2005 to 2012, to shed light on the sanitation and hygiene situation of urban waste management.
