EU migration chief urges support for disembarkation plan
The European Union's top migration official is urging EU member states to back a temporary plan to quickly get migrants off boats in the Mediterranean Sea and distribute them among willing countries.

Greek PM unveils four-point plan for migration
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday unveiled a four-point plan for dealing with migration, following a surge in arrivals over recent months that is testing the limits of the Greek islands.
"The legislation, the direction of policy and the day-to-day management of the problem will be changing," Mitsotakis told lawmakers.

More than 160 migrants have arrived in Greece from Turkey over the weekend, Greek Coast Guard reported.
The migrants crossed the Aegean Sea from Turkey and reached the mainland of Greece or the Greek islands, the coastguard said last night.
