8-year-old Child Drown in Reservoir Near Village Strumyani
An 8-year-old child drown in a reservoir near the Blagoevgrad village Strumyani last night, reported Darik News.
His body is still missing and searched by a diving team, according to BGNES.
Around 8:00 p.m. last night came the signal that a child has drowned in a reservoir about the municipal centre of the village.
3-Magnitude Earthquake Felt Near Bulgaria's Blagoevgrad
A 3-magnitude earthquake has been registered on the territory of Bulgaria, near Blagoevgrad, reported BGNES.
The earthquake was felt at 12.30 hrs with an epicentre 7 km east of Simitli, 15 km southeast of Blagoevgrad and 89 km from Sofia with a depth of 2 km.
There are no reports of material damages.
Struma Highway Blocked Near Blagoevgrad
A huge 5-km traffic jam has blocked the Struma highway near Blagoevgrad in another "epic journey" because of the four-day holiday, reported BGNES.
The exit of LOT-2 of the highway near Blagoevgrad is blocked and traffic from there continues along E-79 to the two border checkpoints with Greece and the resorts Bansko and Sandanski.
