"In the coming days, we expect more sun and temperatures suitable for spring. On Thursday, we will have even 25 degrees in some parts of Serbia, but unfortunately on Easter day it will be cloudy and rainy again and the temperatures will range from 10 to 15 degrees," Djuri said.

Judging by the announcements of the RHMZ, snow will arrive at the beginning of April, and the formation of a snow cover is expected, not only in the mountainous regions.
The first warning refers to the expected higher amount of precipitation in the second part of the day in the southern and eastern regions, from 20 to 40 mm in 12 hours, sometimes even more.

The minimum temperatures will be between 3°C and 8°C, in Sofia - about 2°C, and the maximum - between 11°C and 16°C.

Cloudy weather will prevail today, in many places with rain, in the Pre-Balkans and on the high western plains - with rain and snow. Rainfall will be significant in places, mainly in the eastern half of the country. The wind will be moderate, with a direction from the north-northeast, and colder air will invade with it.

The day will start with cloudy weather, after noon there will be rain from the west.

The maximum temperatures will be between 12°C and 17°C, lowest, 9°-11°C, will be in the western regions, in Sofia - around 11°C, according to the NIMH forecast.

We welcome the first day of February with fluctuating clouds with frequent breaks during the day, but no precipitation. Light snow is still possible to drift over some mountain massifs and in separate points of Eastern Bulgaria, but the amounts will be insignificant. Daytime temperatures on Wednesday will be in the range of 4 to 9 degrees Celsius, from minus 1 to minus 7 in the mountains.

As the Balkans winds have broken the warm winter spell in the country, Istanbul is likely to receive heavy snowfall on the weekend, meteorologists have said, adding that the Siberian cold wave will also hit the country as of Feb. 5.

The increase in the length of the day in February leads to an increase in sunshine and a decrease in gloomy days. Usually, the snow cover in the plains is short-lived, and the precipitation is little. The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology announced an orange code for snowfall for tomorrow, January 26, for the regions of Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and Smolyan. A yellow code has been issued for seven other districts in Western Bulgaria. For Kardjali, the code for snow and rain is also yellow, and for Haskovo, a yellow code for rain has been announced.
