At a time when British Prime Minister Theresa May is trying hard to seal the Brexit deal, a study shows that the original Brexit took place around 450,000 years ago.
Interestingly, no one voted for it when Britain walked away from the rest of Europe at that time. Scientists explain that it happened when a strip of land, which once connected ancient Britain to Europe, was destroyed.
One migrant found dead as 1,350 rescued in Mediterranean
The Italian Coast Guard and humanitarian ships rescued 1,350 migrants in 12 separate operations in the Mediterranean on April 6 and one person was found dead.

The Cretan Bottled Natural mineral water Zaro received the golden award at the Berkeley Spring’s International Water Tasting event. The award ceremony took place in West Virginia, and the Cretan water, which comes from natural springs at the foot of Mount Psiloritis, took top honours among 600 other brands from around the globe.
Two nightclubs attacked in Belgrade overnight
The Freestyler barge night club on the Sava River in Belgrade has been set on fire, the police confirmed on Tuesday.
There were no guests aboard the barge at the time and nobody was injured.

Mediterranean seal in İzmir's Karaburun
A Mediterranean monk seal that came to the coast of Karaburun in İzmir drew great interest among locals. Security measures were taken to protect the seal, which rested in a boat until late on Jan 5 before leaving.

An enormous crack just opened up in the middle of the Arizona Desert (VIDEO)
The Arizona Geological Survey is monitoring a 2-mile long crack that has opened up in the Arizona desert. Recent drone flights over the crack reveal that it has continued to grow both in length and width in Pinal County, to the southeast of Phoenix.
Code Yellow Declared in 22 of Bulgaria's Regions
Code Yellow has been declared on Sunday for 22 regions, reported BGNES.
The only regions that will not experience severe cold are along the Black Sea shore - Burgas, Varna and Dobrich regions, as well as the southern regions of Blagoevgrad, Smolyan and Kardzhali.

At least 219 migrants and refugees are believed to have drowned in the Mediterranean already this year, more than double than during the same period a year ago, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Tuesday.
