Boeing is Halting Production of an Aircraft Related to the Crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia
Boeing is temporarily halted production of the 737 MAX in January, NOVA reports.
In the nine months during which the flights of these aircraft were halted due to the crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia, Boeing continued to produce machines of the model.
"Boeing" has grounded over 50 aircraft worldwide
The airline's top management has acknowledged that serious safety oversights have been made.
All this was revealed during the testimony of Dennis Muilenburg, US Airline CEO, before the US Parliamentary Committee on Wednesday. He said the company made serious mistakes about a key security system, known as MCAS.
