Turkey condemns Boko Haram terror attack in Nigeria
Turkey on Dec. 26 condemned a deadly attack by the Boko Haram terror group in Nigeria that claimed over a dozen lives.
"We are deeply saddened to receive the news that many people lost their lives in a terrorist attack that took place in Baga region of Nigeria targeting the convoy of Borno Governor," Turkey's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Nigerian Forces Rescue More Than 300 Kidnapped Schoolboys
Security forces on Thursday rescued nearly 350 schoolboys who had been kidnapped by suspected Islamist gunmen in northern Nigeria and taken into a vast forest, the governor of Katsina state said.
The abduction last Friday night had been claimed by Islamist militant group Boko Haram in an unverified audio recording.
Terror attack kill dozens in northeast Nigeria
Terrorists linked to the ISIL killed dozens of people in the latest of a flurry of bloody attacks in northeast Nigeria, local sources said on June 14.
Inhabitants of remote Goni Usmanti village told AFP that terrorists gunned down 38 people in a raid on June 13 and set a truck ablaze, killing an unknown number of passengers.

Ankara condemns terrorist attack in Nigeria
Turkey's Foreign Ministry on Feb. 10 condemned the attack in Nigeria's northeastern Borno region that killed at least 30 people.
"We are saddened by the terrorist attack that took place in Nigeria's Borno state on Feb. 9 which claimed many lives and left several people injured," the ministry said in a statement.

Boko Haram kills six in Christmas Eve attack in Nigeria
At least six people were killed and three wounded when Boko Haram insurgents attacked a community in northeastern Nigeria on Christmas Eve.
The insurgents raided Kwaaagilim village near the town of Chibok in Borno state on Dec. 25.
Borno Governor Babagana Zulum confirmed the incident Wednesday during a visit to the area.
Ankara condemns terrorist attack in Chad
Turkey on Dec. 19 condemned a terrorist attack in Chad which left over dozens of civilians dead.
"We are saddened to receive the news that many people lost their lives and injured in a terrorist attack against a fishing village on the shores of Lake Chad," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Nigeria Attacks: Mosque Bomb Blasts Kill Dozens in Mubi
BBC - At least 27 people have been killed in suicide bomb blasts in the north-east Nigerian town of Mubi.
Some reports suggest the death toll could be as high as 42, with dozens more injured.
The explosions happened in and around a mosque as Muslims were preparing for afternoon prayers.
