Bolshoi pulls Nureyev ballet citing ban on LGBT ‘propaganda’
Russia's Bolshoi Theater has removed a ballet dedicated to dancer Rudolf Nureyev from its repertoire, citing a new Russian law that expands restrictions on activities seen as promoting LGBT rights, its director said Wednesday.
'Swan Lake' at TİM Show Center
The world-famous Saint Petersburg Ballet Theater will perform the "Swan Lake" ballet at Istanbul's TİM Show Center on Dec 3, 4, and 5.
The ballet company will be accompanied on the stage by Antonina Chapkina and Fuad Mamedov, the lead singers of the Bolshoi Ballet, one of the oldest ballet companies in the world.

Turkish tenor to perform with opera stars at Bolshoi Theater
Murat Karahan, a Turkish tenor and general manager of the State Opera and Ballet of Turkey, will be performing Italian composer Giacomo Puccini's Tosca at Russia's Bolshoi Theater with opera stars Anna Netrebko and Placido Domingo.

Russia's renowned Bolshoi Ballet Academy is in Athens together with top soloists from the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra to present Tchaikovsky's world-renowned Christmas ballet, "The Nutcracker." Performances take place from December 23 to 29 at the Galatsi Olympic Hall. The ballet is based on E.T.A Hoffmann's tale "The Nutcracker and The Mouse King," first published in 1816.
