Norway police neutralize explosive, arrest suspect

Police in the Norwegian capital of Oslo said they neutralized an explosive device found in a busy area of downtown Oslo late on April 8 and said they had arrested a suspect.

Police Chief Vidar Pedersen confirmed that the device, initially described as "bomb-like," was an explosive. 
The police Twitter account said it had been defused or neutralized.

Security camera footage at the St. Petersburg train station of what appears to be the attacker has been released by Russian authorities, Monday. Monday’s explosions caused the death of at least 9 people and the injury of 50 more. The video was posted on Russian site Ren, while other local media outlets have also published the identity of the reported attacker on social media.

Police defuse hand grenade bomb found outside Dafni precinct

Police bomb disposal experts defused an explosive device comprising a hand grenade on Saturday after receiving an anonymous caller telephoned a threat that the bomb would detonate outside the police precinct in Dafni, southern Athens.

The bomb was found in a bag that had been placed in a small park behind the police precinct. 

Mortar shell found in downtown Patra

Police in Patra, western Greece, cordoned off a section of the city center early on Monday afternoon following the discovery of a mortar shell behind a primary cross-connection point on a street corner.

Army explosives experts were expected to collect the mortar and take it to a remote location for destruction.
