Stockholm was again a scene for lethal gun violence at the end of August as four separate shootings in the capital left one person dead and another seriously wounded - incidents so common the Swedish media is talking of a "new normal".

The Local: Sweden Introduces Eco-Friendly Aviation Tax
Sweden introduced a new aviation tax on Sunday that will add an extra charge to all passenger flights from the country in a bid to lessen air travel's impact on the climate, AFP reported.
Man shot after stabbings in Finnish city
Several people were stabbed in the southwestern Finnish city of Turku on Friday, police said after shooting and arresting a suspect.
"Police shot the suspected perpetrator in the legs," police wrote on Twitter. "The person has been arrested. We recommend that people avoid central Turku."
Police did not confirm the number of victims.

Swedish girl gang-raped on live facebok stream!
Swedish police are reportedly investigating the suspected gang rape of a woman after the three-hour attack was live-streamed on Facebook.
The Sun reports an online witness said the victim had her clothes pulled off by armed men and was sexually assaulted before cops arrived and turned off the camera in Uppsala, Sweden.
