Turkish president meets with representatives of Bosnian NGOs

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met on Nov. 7 with representatives of Bosnian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Istanbul.

The closed-door meeting started at 15.20 local time (1220GMT) at the Huber Mansion.

Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and Presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalın were also present.

Erdogan: The condition is for Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats to unite

Asked what role Turkey will play in Bosnia-Herzegovina, upon returning from visits to Montenegro and BiH, Erdogan told reporters in Istanbul that "Turkey will be present if Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina unite and say they want to give Turkey such a task".
As N1 BiH reported, he said that the members of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina should decide on that.

NATO acknowledges Turkish aid to Bosnia

NATO's strategic military command on April 9 acknowledged Turkey for sending aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina among other Balkan countries, saying "we are stronger together."
"Turkey provided aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina to assist in the fight against #COVID19," the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) said on Twitter.

Erdogan Stages Showpiece Election Rally in Bosnian Capital

Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a mass rally of the Turkish diaspora and local supporters in Sarajevo on Sunday that he will win the presidential elections in his home country on June 24.

"This crowd and the voice of these people in Sarajevo are signs of a great victory in the coming elections in Turkey," Erdogan told the rally.

Turkey's Erdogan to Stage Election Rally in Sarajevo

Turkish pro-government daily newspaper Yeni Safak reported that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his ruling Justice and Development Party, AKP, will organise a rally in Sarajevo on May 20.

The event is part of Erdogan's re-election campaign; he is running for the presidential office again as the country holds early general and presidential elections on June 24.
