BRUSSELS - The donor conference, which is to raise funds for flood victims in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), will be held in Brussels on July 16, EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele said on Monday.

EU and its member states feel solidarity with victims of recent extreme floods in southeastern Europe, Fuele said in a video link posted on the European Commission's website.

The trial of Ratko Mladic resumed after the Bosnian Serb Army chief’s brief illness with another military witness denying the indiscriminate shelling of civilians in besieged Sarajevo.

Bulgaria's Economy and Energy Minister and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Boris Tucic signed an economic cooperation agreement.

Around 150 cyclists competed in the Sarajevo International Race for Peace on Sunday, riding a 140-kilometre route around through the centre and the suburbs of the Bosnian capital with the goal of promoting peace on the anniversary of the outbreak  of the Great War.

"Serbia is guarantor of Dayton agreement"

BANJA LUKA -- Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić said that Serbia is a guarantor of the Dayton agreement, which entails the preservation of Bosnia's Serb entity, the RS.

Nikolić also noted he had "exceptionally positive cooperation with the RS leadership and President Milorad Dodik."

Prosecutors are investigating after Bosnian Croat football fans in the towns of Mostar and Capljina burned the Bosnian flag when the Croatian team won a World Cup match.

The war crimes trial of the former Bosnian Serb military leader, which has been suspended several times because of Mladic’s health, was interrupted again when he was hospitalised.

Novak Djukic, who was convicted of ordering Bosnian Serb artillery to shell the town of Tuzla in 1995, leaving 71 people dead, had his prison sentence reduced from 25 to 20 years.

Serbia cheers for neighbours in World Cup

While their team isn't playing in the World Cup, Serbian citizens are supporting their neighbours from BiH and Croatia.

For Lidija Cvetic, an attorney from Belgrade, supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia in the 2014 World Cup feels natural.
