Another mine disabled in Black Sea
Turkish authorities have disabled a mine in the Black Sea, the Defense Ministry said on Oct. 19, in the fourth such incident since the start of the Ukraine war.
"A mine was detected off Kıyıköy... and has been secured and neutralized," the ministry tweeted.
The Marmara province of Kırklareli's Kıyıköy district is located less than 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the Bosphorus.

The Bosphorus Strait is closed to vessels in both directions because of a stuck cargo ship carrying grain from Ukraine to Italy. This was announced by the Turkish Coast Guard Directorate.

Maritime traffic through the Istanbul Strait was suspended and then resumed on Sept. 2 after a ship coming from Ukraine malfunctioned.
Lady Zehma ran aground due to a rudder failure and anchored in Bebek Bay, Türkiye's Directorate General of Coastal Safety said on Twitter.
Rescue vessels have been dispatched to assist the ship.

Legendary ferry set to sail in Bosphorus anew
Paşabahçe, a legendary ferry built in 1952, has sailed its premier voyage in the Bosphorus after a two-year restoration.
The ferry, which was first built as a warship, and was later turned into a ferry cruising on the Bosphorus, was fully restored by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

Bosphorus’ underground tunnel looted: Expert
Treasure hunters have looted a secret underground tunnel in Istanbul's Üsküdar district, a cave researcher has said.
Speaking with the İhlas News Agency, Fatih Bayrak highlighted that the 500-meter-long tunnel starts in the Çengelköy neighborhood and ends in the Kuzguncuk neighborhood.
