Turkey poised to become LNG bunkering hub with new tri-party agreement
Turkey is on its way to becoming a key hub for LNG supplies with cooperation from Turkey's largest public institution in the areas of energy, trade, transportation and storage, BOTAŞ, along with Arkas Bunkering and Sumitomo Corporation, according to Turkey's BOTAŞ on Sept. 8.

Turkey’s first publicly owned FSRU project inaugurated
With 110 million cubic meters of storage and 28 million cubic meters of gasification capacity, Turkey's first publicly owned floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage and gasification vessel (FSRU) will add significant flexibility to Turkey's energy supply chain security, according to Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez.
'Ertuğrul Gazi' FSRU vessel now flies Turkish flag
Turkey's first floating LNG storage and gasification vessel (FSRU) "Ertuğrul Gazi" is registered to the Turkish International Ship Registry on March 3.
According to the social media account of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, Ertuğrul Gazi flew the Turkish flag.

Greek gas utility DEPA says wins case over supply deal with Turkey's BOTAS
Greece's state-controlled gas utility DEPA, earmarked for privatisation this year, has won a legal case over a supply deal with Turkish state energy company BOTAS, DEPA said on Thursday.
The International Court of Arbitration (ICC) ruled on Wednesday that BOTAS should cut retrospectively the contractual gas prices that DEPA has paid, DEPA said in a statement.
