A fire stopped the power supply in the southwestern parts of the Bulgarian capital last night. For more than three hours there was no electricity in the Vitosha district, Krasna Polyana, Bankya, Triaditsa, Kremikovtsi, Lozenets, Lyulin, Ovcha Kupel, Krasno Selo.
Turkish Truck Crashed into a House in a Bulgarian Village
A heavy truck crashed into a house in the village of Osen, Vratsa region, late last night. For a long time, the driver of the truck with Turkish registration was blocked in the already half-destroyed building, bTV reported.
The truck was at such a high speed that it literally pushed the house, reports the local media Bulnews.

Restriction for Trucks on Hemus Highway
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) announced that it will stop the movement of trucks over 12 tons in a 17-kilometer section of the Hemus motorway for a little more than 24 hours.
From 12 noon on July 25 (Sunday) to 2 pm on July 26 (Monday) the traffic of heavy trucks between the 47th and 30th km of the motorway in the direction of Sofia is stopped.

A Lightning Strike Killed a Child Near Botevgrad
A lightning strike killed a 15-year-old boy in the field of the Botevgrad village of Gurkovo. The incident happened shortly after 8 p.m.
"The family raises cattle. The child helped his parents to take the animals home when the tragedy happened, "Genka Yotova, the deputy mayor of the village of Gurkovo, told NOVA TV.

Schools in 10 Regions of the Country Closed over the Flu Outbreak
The Ministry of Education has announced that schools are closing down in 10 regions of the country over the flu outbreak. In three regions - Bourgas, Pernik and Shumen - all schools are closed, in seven regions only some.
As of today until 8 March, schools are closed in the municipalities of Kostinbrod, Svoge, Botevgrad, Pravets, Zlatitsa, Koprivshtitsa, and Sofia-region.
Boyko Borissov Met with Botevgrad Mayor Ivan Gavalyugugov
Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has met with Botevgrad Mayor Ivan Gavalyugugov to discuss the city's water supply. The mayor briefed the prime minister on the problems and the water situation in the area, the government press office reported. Botevgrad is supplied with water from the Bebresh dam.
