Boxer Kozin wins WBF light middleweight world champion title
Aalen – Slovenian boxer Ema Kozin defeated Szilvia Szabados of Hungary in Germany’s Aalen on Saturday evening to become the world champion in the women’s light middleweight category in the WBF organisation. This is third weight category in which the 23-year-old from Ljubljana holds the world champion title.

Turkish boxer Kerem Özmen bags silver at World Men's Boxing Championship
Turkish boxer Kerem Özmen bagged the silver medal at the AIBA World Men's Boxing Championship in Belgrade, Serbia on Nov. 6.
He lost to Cuban fighter Andy Cruz Gomez in the Light Welterweight (63.5 kg) final.
The 19-year-old is now the World No.2 in Light Welterweight.

BULGARIAN PRIDE: Stoyka Krasteva will Box for Gold in Tokyo
After a 25-year break, Bulgaria again has a finalist in boxing at the Olympic Games. Stoyka Krasteva defeated the representative of the hosts Tsukimi Namiki with 5: 0 in the semi-finals in the category up to 51 kg at the Olympic ring in Tokyo. On Saturday, August 7, the Bulgarian champion will reach the final against Bose Chakaroglu from Turkey.
Boxing: Turkey bags 5 medals in Serbia
Turkey women's national boxing team has won a total of five medals in the 10th Nations Cup in Serbia.
In a statement on Jan. 16, the Turkish Boxing Federation said that Şennur Demir (75 kg), and Busenaz Sürmeneli (69 kg) clinched gold medals in the tournament.

Slovenia’s Ema Kozin declared best WBF woman boxer of 2020
Ljubljana – The World Boxing Federation (WBF) has declared Slovenia’s Ema Kozin the best WBF woman boxer of the year 2020, while her coach Rudi Pavlin has in turn been declared the best WBF coach in the last year. This is a second WBF award for Kozin, who last year won the award for the best women’s fight of the year.
Slovenian boxer wins five world titles
The 20-year-old boxer, nicknamed The Princess, won five world champion titles yesterday - apart from the WBF one, also the titles of the Women's International Boxing Federation, the Women's International Boxing Association, the Global Boxing Union and the International Boxing Association in the Super Middleweight division.
