Prime Minister Boyko Borisov held a meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States for Europe and Eurasia Matthew Palmer, who presented Bulgaria's priorities for developing gas infrastructure and achieving independence of the country in terms of gas supplies, the government's press service announced.

''It is time to talk with numbers and deadlines for transport corridors. The total amount of infrastructure investments in the Balkans will cost 30 billion euros.'' This was stated by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel reportedly told Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras that Berlin's support is "clear and self-evident" when he raised the issue of Turkish aggressions in the Aegean on Friday on the sidelines of a European Union leaders' summit in Brussels.

 Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova submitted her resignation on Friday in order to "erase all doubts" about a deal that saw the assets of the largest private energy company in Bulgaria, CEZ, sold to a family-owned business to which she allegedly has ties.

After it became clear that CEZ's governing bodies have approved a contract for the sale of their assets to Inercom Group, the reactions in parliament have not been delayed. Yesterday it was announced that the Czech concern CEZ sells its assets in Bulgaria and the buyer is Bulgarian company "Inercom Bulgaria".

Energy Minister Temenujka Petkova resigns, NOVA announced. Temenujka Petkova said she wants to clear her name. She said she had talks with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

"What I think, with the slightest doubt about any problems or influences, that it is a decent act to resign, I talked to the Prime Minister and will resign, and he will decide what to do," Petkova said.

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel organized a meeting of 12 European leaders this evening, including Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the Belgian government announced.

They will have dinner at Hertoginnedal castle near Brussels. The talks are on the eve of the informal summit of the 27 European leaders tomorrow in Brussels.

The topic of double standards in food will be discussed at a large forum in Bulgaria on April 30th.

The postponed working visit of Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz will be held on 15th of March, the government's press office announced. Kurz's arrival in Sofia was planned for today, 20th of February, but health reasons delayed his visit.

Austria's Chancellor Sebastien Kurz's planned visit for today is delayed due to sudden health problems, the Council of Ministers said.

The cabinets of the two Heads of Government are in the process of specifying another date for the visit, as soon as possible. Prime Minister Boyko Borisov wishes a quick recovery of his colleague, the statement said.
