Africa Day conference spotlights climate crisis

The climate crisis has been in the spotlight of the first day of the 12th Africa Day international conference at Brdo pri Kranju. Promoting its bid for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council, Slovenia said that, if elected, it would aim to step up climate security, as African officials urged global action against climate change.

OECD recommends Slovenia to address inflation, implement reforms

Pahor, Janša stress good relations with neighbours in address to diplomatic corps

Brdo pri Kranju – President Borut Pahor and Prime Minister Janez Janša highlighted Slovenia’s good relations with all of its neighbours as they hosted the annual reception for the diplomatic corps at Brdo pri Kranju on Tuesday, which was attended by some 85 diplomats accredited to Slovenia. Pahor also discussed relations with Russia and China.

Govt to discuss measures to stem spread of infections

Brdo pri Kranju/Ljubljana – The government will discuss measures to contain the rapid spread of coronavirus infections in Brdo pri Kranju on Friday afternoon. Health Minister Janez Poklukar has said that healthcare is at capacity, noting that there is no other way than to restrict social life in the coming days.
