Jamie Oliver's magazine in Serbian print soon

NOVI SAD - Jamie Magazine will appear in the Serbian language print on October 1 and it will be issued by the Novi Sad-based Color Press Group.

Jamie Magazine, featuring recipes of world-famous contemporary chef Jamie Oliver, first appeared six years ago. With the contract signed last week in Novi Sad, the number of print editions has reached the figure of ten countries.

Second British Foreign Office minister quits

Britain's Africa minister Mark Simmonds resigned on Monday, barely a week after another Foreign Office minister quit over the government's policy on Gaza.
      
Officials insisted that Simmonds' decision was unrelated to that of Sayeeda Warsi, who quit last Tuesday in protest at the government's failure to take a tougher line against Israel over its assault on Gaza.

Ticket Frenzy For 'Hamlet' Starring Benedict Cumberbatch

Early ticket sales for the Barbican production of “Hamlet” starring Britain's hottest actor Benedict Cumberbatch started on August 1, amid high interest, report British media. 

The production hits the stage of the notable London theatre in August 2015 and will be on through October the same year.

Kapoor work on display at Sabancı Museum’s collection

World renowned Indian-born British sculptor Anish Kapoor’s work titled “Double” has been included in the permanent collection of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM). The work, which is open to display in the garden of the museum, is the first artwork from a museum collection in Turkey that is open to visits.

Beetles devour George Harrison tribute tree

A tree planted in a Los Angeles park in memory of the late George Harrison of the Beatles has been killed by beetles, a city councilor said Tuesday.
      
Tom LaBonge, whose district includes Griffith Park, told AFP that the Japanese black pine tree, planted about 12 years ago, would be replaced at a community planting that is due to take place in November.
