British Prince on Private Visit to Transylvania

Already a regular visitor to Romania’s Transylvania region, Prince Charles on Wednesday started his latest tour there by visiting the Gothic 14th-century Black Church built by the Germans in the city of Brasov.

Prince Charles also visited the St Nicholas Orthodox church and a museum in Brasov, according to news agency Agerpres.

Nikolic urges EBRD to take part in donor conference

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has urged the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to take part in a donor conference aimed at providing assistance to Serbia and other flood-hit countries in the region - to be held under the auspices of France - noting that long-term development plans also need to be considered.

Mick Jagger Becomes a Great-Grandfather

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has officially become a great-grandfather. 

Assisi Jackson, Jagger's 21-year-old granddaughter, gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend, The Daily Mail reports. CBS News confirms that the baby's name has not been revealed, also noting that this is the first child for Jackson and 25-year-old boyfriend Alex Key.

BELGRADE– Serbia’s chief negotiator in accession talks with EU Tanja Miscevic said that European foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton came to Belgrade Monday to offer support for the new government and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic in the process of European integration and in tough economic reforms ahead.

Prince Edward to Visit Bulgaria

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, arrives on Monday in Bulgaria upon the invitation of Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev.

Prince Edward is the chairperson of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and will arrive in Bulgaria on the occasion of the centenary of the start of World War I. 

Hugh Laurie To Play In Sofia

Hugh Laurie and his The Copper Bottom Band will have a concert in Sofia on July 11. 

Laurie, who shot into world fame with his role as Dr. Gregory House in the "House M.D." TV series, issued his debut blues album “Let Them Talk” in 2011.
