BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday Belgrade wanted the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities in Kosovo-Metohija to be the first, the decisive and the defining step for implementation of an EU proposal on normalisation of Belgrade-Pristina relations.

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday the Brussels Agreement was Belgrade's greatest political achievement since 1999 and UN SC Resolution 1244, and something tangible Serbia had attained for Kosovo-Metohija Serbs.

This was announced by the State Department, commenting on the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement so far.

He said that the EU has formed a Joint Monitoring Committee to monitor the implementation of the Agreement on the Normalization of Relations between the so-called of Kosovo and Serbia and Annex for implementation.

BRUSSELS - EU spokesperson Peter Stano announced on Tuesday a new round of high-level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina would take place in Brussels on May 2.

By locking implementation of the agreement into the European paths of Serbia and Kosovo, neither side can ignore their obligations without sabotaging their accession prospects.
