BELGRADE - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak says commitments undertaken in the dialogue must be met by both sides.

DUBAI - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday Serbia was always ready for dialogue and would always be there for discussions with Pristina, but that a Community of Serb Municipalities must be established and that, this time, this was a joint position of Serbia and Western partners, especially the EU and the US.

LEBANE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Friday the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities as defined by the Brussels Agreement was a "condition above all conditions."

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday received the ambassadors of Quint states to the OSCE Mission in Vienna and the five countries' seniormost diplomatic representatives in Belgrade to discuss the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, as well as other regional affairs.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said on Tuesday all subsequent proposals regarding the form of a Community of Serb Municipalities in Kosovo-Metohija were attempts of political manoeuvring aimed at conforming the Community to Pristina's views.

ANKARA - Serbia would like to see Turkey as a major stability factor in our region, Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said on Thursday in Ankara after a meeting with Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, appealing to Turkey to use its leverage on Pristina in terms of implementation of the Brussels Agreement.

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday a new European Parliament resolution calling on Belgrade to align with the EU foreign policy was "another example of enormous hypocrisy."

In an article analyzing the situation in the Western Balkans, titled "Europe needs to do more", the Guardian states that in December "local disputes" led to the installation of barricades in the north of Kosovo, which is mainly inhabited by Serbs.

Asked to comment on the statements that the north of Kosovo and Metohija is not ruled by Serbia but by Pristina, Aleksandar Vui said that he thought that things in the international order were based on respect for norms and signed documents. "Now I understand that they are based on someone's desire to rule over someone and something," he added.
