Plovdiv Rocked by Xmas Hog Roast Row
A plan to butcher two whole pigs and roast them in the centre of the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv as a Christmas celebration has been dropped after local protests.The hog roast was set to take place next to the Christmas tree by the city council building on Boxing Day, the bTV Novinite news site reports, cited by BBC.

Two Children Are Injured in a School Bus Crash
Two children were injured in a bus crash on the Piperkovo - Djulyunitsa road, the bTV correspondent in the region reports.
A total of four children traveled to the bus.
According to preliminary data, the injuries are not severe.
They were taken to a hospital.
At this stage, the circumstances surrounding the crash are not clear.

The Bulgarian Government Approved the National Health Card
At today's meeting, the government is discussing and voting on the National Health Card, bTV announced. It will give grounds for NHIF to enter into contracts with regional hospitals.
It is expected with the help of the document that the hospital beds in Bulgaria will decrease from 38 000 to 32 000. The data for 2017 show that 24 700 were used.
