Romanian gov’t approves sending emergency aid to Serbia, BiH
BUCHAREST - The Romanian government approved a decision Tuesday to send emergency humanitarian aid to Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) worth RON 880,000 (about EUR 200,000).
Romanian Museums Ready For All-Night Opening
The annual Night of Museums in Romania will involve exhibitions, dance and theatre performances, concerts and films in events all across the country, according to the official website for the event.
Thousands of Romanians are expected to attend the events, hearing hitherto little-known stories of different objects in the museums.

US Vice-President Biden to Visit Romania
US Vice-President Joe Biden is to visit Bucharest for talks with Romanian leaders on the volatile situation in Ukraine, among other matters.
President Traian Basescu on Monday said he had invited Biden to Romania, but declined to specify the timing of the visit.

Sofia Airport Metro Link to be Complete in a Year
The metro connection to Sofia Airport Terminal 2 will be ready in a year, the mayor Yordanka Fandakova revealed.
Construction work is going according to plan, with 60% of the segment running under Blvd. Tsarigradsko Shose already completed. The new section of the metro will allow further 98,000 citizens to have access in their area, Fandakova pointed out.

Serbia defeats Romania in Bucharest, water polo
BUCHAREST - Serbia beat host Romania in a FINA Water Polo World League Preliminaries Round 5 Group A match in Bucharest 7-4 (2-1, 1-0, 1-2, 3-1) late on Tuesday.
This was Serbia's third consecutive win, cementing its top position in the group with nine points ahead of Russia and Romania with three points each.
