Brnabic, Osmani note significance of Open Balkan

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and North Macedonia FM Bujar Osmani on Thursday.

Brnabic noted that the cooperation maintained by her government and all state institutions with the OSCE Mission to Serbia was very good.

The parties also noted the significance of the Open Balkan initiative and its benefits for all citizens.

North Macedonia took over the chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on Sunday and will lead it for the next 12 months. The foreign minister of the country, Bujar Osmani, became the chairman of the OSCE and defined the restoration of mutual trust and the need to resume the dialogue on security issues as the main tasks for the current year.

"The Macedonian language issue has been resolved and all lies related to it must be dismantled". This was said at a press conference in Skopje by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RNM Bujar Osmani.

The framework that needs to be signed with the European Union will state that North Macedonia will translate the legislation into the Macedonian language.
