Bulgaria returns to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after 5 years of absence. Denislava Dimitrova and Martin Stoyanov will represent the country at the prestigious competition on December 19, 2021 with the song "The Voice of Love" ("Glasut na Liubovta").

Bulgaria ranks 8th in the ranking of the most successful countries of the Eurovision Song Contest for the last 10 years. This became clear by the official ranking, which includes all 46 countries that have participated in the prestigious music competition since 2010.

Bulgaria to Decide Eurovision 2020 Participation in September.

They shocked the Eurovision world when they withdrew last year. The Bulgarian broadcaster BNT has issued a statement on the progress on their decision on whether to return to the contest in 2020. The contest is expected to take place in either Rotterdam or Maastricht in the Netherlands after their win last May in Tel-Aviv Israel.

Bulgaria: BNT is not Planning a Junior Eurovision Return in 2019

Bulgaria withdrew from Junior Eurovision in 2017 following an election for the Director General of the broadcaster and has yet to return. Unfortunately, a tweet by BNT hints that a return may not be imminent.

Poli Genova to Represent Bulgaria at Eurovision 2016

Poli Genova will represent Bulgaria at this year's edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Stockholm between May 10 and 14.

Her selection was announced last week by the public broadcaster, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT), which is responsible for determining the Bulgarian participant.

Bulgaria Hosts Final of 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday

Bulgaria will host the thirteenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the Arena Armeec hall in Sofia on Saturday evening at 20:30 EET.

A total of seventeen countries will participate in this year's edition of the song contest, with Australia and Ireland making their debut.

Postponed Junior Eurovision Opening Ceremony Due on November 17

The postponed Opening Ceremony of Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will take place this Tuesday in Bulgaria's capital Sofia, after having been postponed over the Paris attacks of last week.

The event will be held at the Bulgarian National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia at 19:30 (local time).

Gabriela Yordanova Unveils Bulgaria's 2015 Junior Eurovision Entry

Twelve-year-old Bulgarian singer, Gabriela Yordanova, who will be representing Bulgaria at this year's edition of the Junior Eurovision after winning the national selection in September, officially presented her song on Sunday.

The song is entitled "Cvetat na Nadejdata" ("The Colour of Hope") and the lyrics were co-written by Gabriela and poet Ivaylo Valchev.
