Bulgaria's GERB, Reformist Bloc Sign Coalition Deal
Bulgaria's centre-right-GERB and right-wing Reformist Bloc (RB) on Thursday signed an agreement to form a coalition government.
The agreement was signed by GERB leader Boyko Borisov and RB's two co-leaders Meglena Kuneva and Radan Kanev.
ABV To Support GERB-RB Governance Programme, Gets Deputy PM Post

Police Seize 40kg of Heroin worth BGN 4 M in Plovdiv
40kg of heroin have been seized in Plovdiv in an operation of Bulgaria's State Agency for National Security (DANS) and the Interior Ministry.
The authorities found 78 packs of heroin weighing 40kg in a car driven by a Turkish national.
The man was arrested for a period of up to 24 hours, according to reports of DANS.
UNICEF: Bulgaria Has Highest Child Poverty Rate in Europe
Bulgaria has the highest child poverty rate in Europe, according to Tanya Radocaj, UNICEF Representative for Bulgaria.
Speaking Wednesday in Veliko Tarnovo at a forum devoted to the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, she said that the biggest challenge for Bulgaria was child poverty.
Bulgarian President Hands Gov't Mandate to GERB
President Rosen Plevneliev has given Bulgaria's biggest party GERB a mandate to form a government.
GERB leader Boyko Borisov was handed the mandate after he and three other representatives of the party carried out consultations with the head of state.
Borisov announced he will either have a cabinet ready or return the mandate within 24 hours.
