Independent marine fuel broking and technology company Nereus Digital Bunkers is preparing for its second participation at Posidonia, on June 3-7, where it is planning to launch a host of new value-added features to its end-to-end bunker procurement software.

Turkey is on its way to becoming a key hub for LNG supplies with cooperation from Turkey's largest public institution in the areas of energy, trade, transportation and storage, BOTAŞ, along with Arkas Bunkering and Sumitomo Corporation, according to Turkey's BOTAŞ on Sept. 8.

Troubled oil importer and retailer Silk Oil has been acquired by Cypriot group Petrolina, the latter announced on Tuesday.

Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd stated that its new 100% owned subsidiary P.W. Bunkering Services (East Med) Ltd proceeded on December 31 to the acquisition of 100% of Silk Oil's share capital, in the context of the Cypriot group's further expansion in Greece.

Greek company probunkers on Wednesday announced it had submitted a request for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering license to supply marine fuel in the port of Singapore.

Aegean Bunkering Pte Ltd on Friday said it had left the world's largest marine fuels market in Singapore this week after handing back its supply and craft operator licenses.

The company had announced in October that it would halt physical supply operations in Singapore by January amid heightened commercial pressures after the city-state adopted tougher bunkering procedures.
