Larissa tragedy: 4-year-old boy suffers severe burns
A four-year-old boy was rushed to Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital today with severe burns and respiratory problems after being evacuated from a burning house in Larissa.
A preliminary investigation is currently under way and depositions are being taken in order for experts to piece together the circumstances that led up to the tragedy Wednesday morning.
Six injured in fire in nursing home in Belgrade
Six persons, including two firefighters, were injured early on Tuesday in a fire that broke out in the Home for the Elderly in Mirijevo, Belgrade.
Two elderly women received serious injuries. They were both unconscious, while one had burns all over her body, a spokeswoman for the Clinical Center's Emergency Center, Nada Macura, said.

The rock legends Whitesnake are embarking on their Purple Tour, which also includes a concert in Bulgaria in November.
The one of the most influential and most popular rock bands, which is favourite to several generations was founded in 1978 by David Coverdale, who had left Deep Purple two years earlier.
Volos man arrested for setting wife on fire
A 57-year-old man was arrested in Volos, central Greece, on Monday on suspicion of setting his wife on fire.
The man, who was not named, is alleged to have thrown surgical spirit over the woman and then set her alight.
The 47-year-old woman was hospitalized and is being treated for burns.

Winery accident leaves three workers in critical condition
Three workers at a winery in Iraklio, Crete, were in critical condition on Tuesday after suffering extensive chemical burns while cleaning out a wine vat, local media site Creta Live has reported.
Thessaloniki seaman in critical condition after port explosion
A sailor working at the port of Piraeus was taken to hospital on Tuesday after suffering serious burns in an explosion on a water-skimming vessel.
The seaman, whose details have not been made public, is in critical condition, the state-run Athens-Macedonia News Agency reported.
