Consignment notes to become digital

The tax administration is proceeding with the activation of the digital consignment note in the near future, with which the forwarding of all products will be monitored.

The digital waybill will allow, in real time, the inspection mechanism to know where a product originated and where it will go.

Small firms declare no profit

More than 43,000 single-owner enterprises will fall into the trap of the "presumptive income," on which they will be taxed for the year 2023 in the new manner that provides for a minimum taxable amount of 10,920 euros, which could reach up to €14,196. The head of Greece's Anti-Money Laundering Authority ordered on Wednesday the freezing of all assets of human rights activist Panayote Dimitras, following an investigation into his activities.

According to the authority's investigation, the funding he received, mainly from the EU, to support human rights causes was used for other purposes than those claimed.
