Blue Origin’s Bezos reaches space on 1st passenger flight

Jeff Bezos blasted into space on July 20 on his rocket company's first flight with people on board, becoming the second billionaire in just over a week to ride his own spacecraft.

The Amazon founder was accompanied by a hand-picked group: his brother, an 18-year-old from the Netherlands and an 82-year-old aviation pioneer from Texas - the youngest and oldest to ever fly in space.

De Vries was shot in the head, and was transported to the hospital after the attack. Despite the doctor's efforts to keep him alive, he passed away, reports Sputnik.
As a reminder, the attack occurred only a few minutes after he left the RTL building, where he participated in the popular television show "RTL Boulevard".

Jeff Besos Ex-wife MacKenzie Donates 2.7bn USD

Billionaire MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has donated another .7bn  to a range of charities.

Ms Scott said in a blog post that she wanted to give the money to those "that have been historically underfunded and overlooked".

She wrote that she had chosen 286 organisations working on racial inequality, the arts and education.
