Kosovo War Rape Victim Urges US Congress to Seek Justice
Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman, the first woman in Kosovo to speak publicly about being a wartime rape victim, testified at a US House of Representatives' foreign affairs committee hearing in Washington DC on Tuesday that the US should push for justice for victims of war crimes.
"I'm neither interested in nor affected by US decision"
The decision in question banns the former commander of the Serbian Gendarmerie from entering the United States.
It was previously announced that the decision was made because of Radosavljevic's (alleged) involvement in the case of the Bytyqi brothers. The same decision applies to his wife and daughter.
US Bars Serbian Ex-Commander Over Kosovo Crimes
The US State Department said on Tuesday that it is designating Goran Radosavljevic ineligible to enter the country due to what it alleged was "his involvement in gross violations of human rights".

Murdered US Albanian Brothers Named ‘Heroes of Kosovo’
The Albanian-American Bytyqi brothers, who fought for the Kosovo Liberation Amy and were murdered by Serbian forces in 1999, were awarded the ‘Hero of Kosovo’ order by President Hashim Thaci.

The brothers Bytyqi traveled to Serbia to fight in the ranks of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the 1999 war in Kosovo. They were captured by Serbian authorities shortly after the war and sentenced to 15 days in prison for having illegally crossed the state border between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Albania.

According to her, the Serbian authorities are working on this process and finding and sanctioning the responsible persons.

US Congress Committee Presses Serbia on Bytyqi Murders
The US Congress’ House Foreign Affairs Committee adopted a resolution urging Belgrade to prosecute the killers of the Albanian-American Bytyqi brothers, murdered in 1999 after being detained by Serbian police.
