The minister's comments on Thursday come after 2TDK, the state-run company managing the project, has decided to enter negotiations with ten of the 15 bidders that responded to an international call to tender for the main construction work, including several Chinese and Turkish companies, aside from builders from Slovenia, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

BDZ launched an open tender procedure for the purchase and maintenance of 42 new modular trains for the needs of BDZ-Passenger Transport EOOD. The company announces that the deadline for receipt of tenders is until 16:45 on October 12, 2018.

BELGRADE, Feb 19 (Tanjug) – The deadline for the submission of bids for the first stage of works to overhaul and modernize the Belgrade Central railway station has been extended to February 28 because of a large number of companies interested in tendering, Serbian Railways General Director Dragoljub Simonovic told Tanjug on Wednesday.
