Number of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Worldwide is Approaching 3 Million
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide is approaching 3 million, the BBC reported.
Currently, they are 2,995,757 confirmed cases and 207,021 death cases. The United States has the highest number of patients followed by Spain.
It is estimated that the actual number of patients worldwide is much higher.
Global coronavirus cases exceed 2.6 mln
The global coronavirus cases surpassed 2.6 million on April 22, according to a running tally by the U.S.-based Johns Hopkins University.
The university's data showed that the global number of deaths reached 180,784, while the number of people who recovered rose to 701,426.

8 more Turkish nationals die from COVID-19 in Germany
Eight more Turkish nationals have died in Germany from the novel coronavirus, local authorities said on April 19.
Their deaths were reported in the cities of Hamburg, Nuremberg, Mainz and Stuttgart.
Some of those who died have no families or relatives and will therefore be buried in Germany.
5 more Turkish nationals die from COVID-19 in Germany
Five more Turkish nationals have died in Germany from the novel coronavirus, local authorities said on April 16.
Their deaths were reported in the cities of Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart and the town of Baden-Baden.
