The Albanian Parliament approved the Legalization of Cannabis for Medical and Industrial Purposes
The Albanian parliament has approved a draft law on the use of cannabis for medical and industrial purposes, Albanian media reported.
According to information from Albanian media, the draft law also specifies a series of criteria that must be met by those who want to obtain a permit to grow the plant, as well as sanctions in case of possible violations.

A 50-year-old man has been arrested for setting up a hydroponic cannabis growing system in a house on the island of Salamina, near Athens.
Police, who arrested the suspect on Tuesday, said the cannabis was being cultivated for illegal sale.

Protesters in Sofia Demand Legalisation of Cannabis
The participants in a procession held in the centre of the Bulgarian capital on Sunday demanded the legalisation of cannabis.
Among the main demands of the protesters are: allowing the medical use of cannabis, decriminalising the possession and cultivation of cannabis for personal use, allowing and regulating the growth and procession of all products from industrial cannabis.
