Capacity usage rate inches up to 77.8 pct in April

The capacity utilization rate (CUR) in Turkey's manufacturing industry rose on a monthly basis in April, data from the country's Central Bank have shown.

The economy's key manufacturing sector used 77.8 percent of its capacity this month, up from 77.3 in March.

In April last year, the capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry was 75.9 percent.

Turkey's manufacturing capacity down slightly in October

The capacity utilization rate (CUR) of Turkey's manufacturing industry decreased month-on-month in October, official data showed on Oct. 25. 

After a four-month upward trend, the rate dropped slightly by 0.1 percentage points to 78% this month, compared to September, according to a Turkish Central Bank survey.

Turkey's manufacturing capacity continues to rise in September

The Turkish manufacturing industry's capacity utilization rate (CUR) increased month-on-month in September, marking the fourth straight monthly rise, fresh data showed on Sept. 24. 

The local manufacturing industry units operated at 78.1% of their capacity this month, up one point from August, according to a Turkish Central Bank survey released on Friday.

Turkey's manufacturing capacity usage down in May

The capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the Turkish manufacturing industry fell on a monthly basis in May, according to official data announced on May 25. 

Local manufacturing industry units operated at 75.3% of their capacity this month, down 0.6 percentage points from March, according to a survey by the Turkish Central Bank.

Turkish manufacturing capacity usage edges down

The capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the Turkish manufacturing industry slightly fell on a monthly basis in March, the country's Central Bank announced on March 26. 

Local manufacturing industry units operated at 74.7% of their capacity this month, down 0.2 percentage points from February, according to the bank survey.
