The farmers may have raised sheep or goats

The Eurasian skylark (Alauda arvensis) and the chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra) will be placed under protection, and the decision, together with an opinion of the Ministry of the Environment, will be submitted to the government, acting Environmental Minister Costel Alexe said on Thursday at a news conference.

The pyrenean chamois, which have been taken under protection by the Forestry and Water Affairs Ministry, are being monitored by Nature Protection and National Parks personnel while searching for food on snowy ground in the eastern province of Erzurum's Tercan district.
