Search and rescue launched after migrant dinghy capsizes off Agathonissi
A search and rescue operation is underway after a dinghy carrying migrants capsized off the coast of the islet of Agathonissi in the eastern Aegean, the coast guard said.
Seventeen people have been rescued so far. It is not known how many passengers were on board. Two coast guard vessels, a private boat and an air force helicopter are searching the area.

Teams of the Turkish Coast Guard rescued two Bulgarian girls, aged 7 and 9, from drowning in the bay near Enez in Edirne region, BTA reported.
The children were swimming in an inflatable boat in the sea near the shore. It had been dragged by the stormy wind into deep water and was in danger of capsizing.

Pakistan has reported around 300 of its citizens who died when a ship carrying illegal migrants from Libya to Europe capsized last week.
"Senate President Sadiq Sanjrani deeply mourns the tragic loss of nearly 300 Pakistanis following a boat accident off the coast of Greece," Sanjrani's office said in a tweet, as quoted by Russia's Interfax news agency on Monday.

Greece boat disaster: 12 Pakistanis among survivors
Twelve Pakistanis were among survivors from a boat packed with migrants that capsized off the coast of Greece this week, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday.
Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said the government was unable so far to verify the number of Pakistanis who died, or their identities.
